The oil-immersed submersible pump is a novel type of submersible pump that combines the unique features of dry submersible electric pumps and oil submersible electric pumps. The pump is designed with an upper structure and two types of motors, namely water-filled and water-immersed, both equipped with waterproof designs. This pump is ideal for high lift and high flow applications such as fountains and other water features. With its innovative design, the oil-immersed submersible pump is a reliable solution for pumping water efficiently and effectively.
The oil-immersed submersible pump operates on the structural principle of oil immersion. This means that the pump is designed to operate underwater, with the entire structure being submerged in oil. The oil serves as a medium for insulation and cooling, reducing the chances of damage to internal components due to heat. This also ensures the smooth functioning of the pump, even when used for extended periods. As a result, these pumps are highly efficient and reliable, making them an ideal choice for various applications.
The oil-immersed submersible pump is known for its compact structure, ease of movement, and excellent lubrication for its bearings, resulting in a smooth and quiet operation and a longer lifespan. Its overall mechanical seal is highly durable, ensuring safety and reliability. This pump is composed of four main components: the motor, seal, water pump, and control system. The water pump and motor are aligned coaxially, providing a streamlined and efficient design.
1. Motor part
The three-phase squirrel-cage induction vertical motor of the oil-immersed submersible pump is situated in the lower section. Specifically designed for heat dissipation, cooling, and bearing lubrication of the motor windings, the motor's inner cavity is filled with No. 5 mechanical oil. This system ensures optimal performance. The motor boasts Class B insulation for enhanced safety. Made of durable cast iron, the bottom cover, oil chamber water inlet, and outlet box of the pump guarantee longevity and reliability. To power the motor, the YZW-type power cable is utilized, along with other cables that offer equivalent performance capabilities.
The motor design has been revamped to incorporate new and innovative ideas for the structure. The conventional method of using rubber expansion parts in the lower section of the motor cavity to adjust the pressure has now been replaced with a new mechanism that controls the oil filling amount in the motor stator cavity, with a specific space left in the upper part of the motor stator cavity to regulate the pressure inside. This cutting-edge structure of the oil-immersed submersible pump is not only safer but also more dependable than the old setup. Moreover, we have also upgraded the motor wiring board with our latest products to ensure maximum safety and dependability compared to the traditional wiring board.
2. Sealing part
At the motor's shaft extension, within the oil chamber consisting of the water inlet section and upper end cover, lies the dynamic seal. The double-end unbalanced mechanical seal structure comprises a first seal module made of hard alloy and a second seal module made of ceramics. This seal offers outstanding performance in terms of abrasion and high temperature resistance, sealing effectiveness, and longevity. On each part of the electric pump, the static seal is located at the joint and is sealed by an "O" type oil-resistant rubber sealing ring.
3. Pump part
Different specifications of electric pumps use cast iron as the material for the water pump parts, such as the impeller, guide vane, and pump body. However, if the user has specific requirements for corrosion resistance, there are two options available. The first option is to coat the pump parts with stainless steel, providing enhanced corrosion resistance. The second option is to use cast iron parts that are treated with anti-corrosion and wear-resistant materials.
To proceed with either option, it is necessary for the user to specify their preference when placing the order. Additionally, it should be noted that the pump part is located within the motor, specifically in the upper part. This upper part consists of the impeller, guide vane, and pump body. In the case of two-stage and multi-stage pumps, each stage will have an additional impeller, one middle guide vane, and one middle pump body.
This consideration is crucial as it ensures that the pump can handle varying levels of pressure effectively. By avoiding excessive pressure, potential damages to the electric pump, as well as accidents, can be prevented. It is essential to prioritize the safety and longevity of the pump system by selecting appropriate materials and components based on the specified requirements.
4. Control part
The protection of the electric pump's motor parts is crucial to ensure its proper functioning. This is achieved through the control part, which also offers users the convenience of starting control protection cabinets tailored to their needs. Specifically, motors with a power rating above 30KW come equipped with a switch that serves to protect against overheating. Positioned at the end of the stator winding, this switch automatically resets itself when the temperature of the motor exceeds the safe threshold. Additionally, it is essential for users to incorporate controls that safeguard the pump from various potential issues such as overload, overheating, phase loss, overvoltage, and undervoltage. By implementing these measures, the pump's motor can be effectively preserved and its performance optimized.
Oil-immersed submersible pumps are a popular type of electric drainage and irrigation equipment that is extensively used in agricultural and industrial settings. These pumps are designed for various applications such as water supply and drainage in agricultural irrigation and drainage, garden sound sprinkler irrigation, fountain water supply, well water extraction, water tower water supply, urban construction, industrial and mining enterprises, and so on.
Thanks to their versatile nature, oil-immersed submersible pumps offer reliability and efficiency in a wide range of usage scenarios. Whether you need to irrigate crops, maintain a garden, or extract well water, these pumps are a reliable choice that can get the job done.
Overall, oil-immersed submersible pumps are essential tools for farmers and industrial and mining enterprises that require a reliable and efficient water supply and drainage system. With their impressive versatility and performance, it's no wonder why they're commonly used across various industries and applications.
